Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Most people only look whats on the first 2 or 3 pages of a search engine like google so its really important to get your site indexed as soon as possible.
There are really 2 key things to do for a new website. The first is get your site noticed by all the search engines, so that they at least know you exist, and then to start getting your website more popular with them so that you start to get higher and higher up the list of results. You can't build a website, and expect to be on the front page of Google, it won't happen overnight and it takes time and patience. I can register your site with all the search engines as part the standard package, but can also help you to promote your website online. The second is getting links back into your site from other web sites, this helps your search engine ranking. Overall good design helps when trying to get yourself noticed on the web ! |
